Trade supply · GIA-certified · cut in Bedfordview

Wholesale natural diamond supply, direct from the cutting works.

We supply GIA-certified loose natural diamonds to South African jewellers, designers, and trade buyers, cut on our own bench in Bedfordview. Buying from the beneficiator rather than an importer means tighter pricing, documented provenance, and forward parcel visibility instead of whatever happens to be on the spot market.

What we supply

Loose natural diamonds, certified to GIA standard, cut in-house. That covers centre stones across the common shapes, calibrated melee for pave and channel work, and matched pairs for studs and trilogy makes. Where a buyer needs a specific colour, clarity, and carat combination, we quote against forward parcels rather than only what is in the cabinet today.

Why buy from a beneficiator, not an importer

Most wholesale offers in South Africa come from importers reselling polished goods bought abroad. We are a De Beers DBCM Emerging Beneficiation Customer with scheduled access to DBCM rough, cutting it domestically under a SADPMR beneficiation licence. Three things follow from that for a trade buyer.

  • Pricing closer to the trade. We price from the manufacturing side, not from a reseller margin stacked on top of an import.
  • Forward visibility. Scheduled viewings let us quote parcels months ahead, so you can plan stock instead of chasing spot inventory.
  • Provenance you can audit. Every parcel carries a documented chain from rough to polished, with Kimberley Process compliance and SADPMR records behind it.

How trade supply works

Supply is a documented, invoiced process. We confirm the spec you need, quote against current and forward parcels, and supply with the GIA report and a compliant invoice. Because the bench, the licence, and the records sit under one roof in Bedfordview, the goods you receive are the goods we cut, with the paperwork to prove it.

Who we supply, and where retail buyers go

This is a trade channel for jewellers, designers, and dealers. Members of the public looking for a finished engagement ring or a single certified stone are best served by our retail sister brand, Prodiam, which handles consumer sales, settings, and service. Trade buyers who want loose goods, calibrated parcels, or a supply relationship should contact the works directly.

Common questions

Do you supply loose diamonds to the trade in South Africa?
Yes. We supply GIA-certified loose natural diamonds to jewellers, designers, and trade buyers, cut on our own bench in Bedfordview, through an invoiced and SADPMR-compliant process. Retail buyers are routed to Prodiam.
Why buy from a beneficiator instead of an importer?
Scheduled rough viewings let us quote forward parcels and price closer to the trade, and you get a documented Kimberley Process provenance trail an importer reselling anonymous goods cannot match.
What cut grade do you supply?
We cut to GIA Excellent and AGS Ideal. Higher-grade cutting is the only standard we run.
